Our Commitment to Community Service
Our chapter like a lot of other chapters nationwide are committed to helping in our community. We take seriously the idea that many hands can make light work.
We work with other non-profits to put donated sewing supplies to good use when the original owner no longer needs them.
We have held a free “Sew Camp” to teach kids the art and fun of sewing.
We sew clothing and other items to give to organizations that help those less fortunate than ourselves.
We have lots of fun and it’s such a joy to sew for others.
Stuffed animals sewn by members at a sewing day event support families.
Donated fabrics find users and raise funds at the annual Bargain Garden.
