Come sneak away for an entire weekend of pure sewing pleasure! Cost is $15/member for the weekend. Space available for up to
25 people at one time To reserve your spot, it will be FCFS then a waiting list. Lots of distractions with thread, books, quilting
fabric and notions galore at a whopping 30% discount!! Machines, tables, software, vacuums and anything else is negotiable.
Dealer carries Bernina & Singer.
Did I mention the store has air conditioning? Who cares if it’s an Indian summer day, we won’t know. Lots of parking available too.
Location is a couple blocks from Valley Fair & Santana Row. There’s pizza & fast food just a few paces away or brown
bag it. There’s a microwave, water and a mini-frig.
And as always, help available carrying in your machine. Chairs available to help
wheel you out after a day of sewing, snacking & shopping!

Come to nice cool Millbrae to escape that summer heat! Cost is $5/member. There are 12 spaces available. To reserve your spot,
it will be FCFS then a waiting list. Dealer carries Babylock. On the spot scissor sharpening ($5) and mini-cleanings ($25 & up)
will be offered that day. Attendees will also enjoy a nice 15% discount!! That will NOT apply to vacuums, machines or tables,
doesn’t mean you can’t negotiate though.
Downtown Millbrae has a quaint shopping district. Consensus for lunch will be catering from a local deli or other. There’s coffee
& tea in the shop. Public parking across the street and lots of it! Easy on/off 101. And as always, help available
carrying your machine.

Class Limited to 10 Students
Lynda is continuing her classes of custom pattern drafting with the San Jose ASG. In this set of
4 sessions you will take your measurements to draft a custom pant pattern. You will make muslins of this draft to ensure fit.
You will learn where to make changes in your muslin and how to transfer those changes to your pattern.
With the final pattern
you will receive instructions on variations to try on your draft to make jeans, shorts, Capri’s, yoga pants, etc.

Lynda Maynard
Lynda Maynard has over 30 years experience
in patternmaking and fitting. Her custom couture business caters to a high-end clientele. Lynda teaches a variety of classes
from couture construction, pattern making to fit. Some of the venues for her classes are Cañada College, SF City College, Apparel
Arts, and the Sewing Workshop. Lynda is the author of De-Mystifying Fit: Using the Moulage to Adjust Commercial Patterns
and her upcoming book The Dressmaker's Handbook of Couture Sewing Techniques: Essential Step-by-Step Techniques for Professional Results.
