Volunteers
There are many ways in which you can be involved in our local ASG San Jose chapter. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity
to meet and work with our members and contribute to the community at the same time. All volunteers help to make our sewing guild
a great place to be a part of! Our Chapter Advisory Board (CAB) are all volunteers committed to helping you get the best sewing
experience you can from our chapter and meet some wonderful sewing women to share with!
If you are interested in volunteering
in our chapter, or serving in some capacity on our advisory board, please
contact us. The time commitment is low and we have
an amazing group of women in our chapter with a lot of experience and enthusiasm. Your help is greatly appreciated.
At
the current time, we are looking for someone to fill the following openings:
Neighborhood Group Coordinator: The responsibilities
of this position are to function as a liaison between the CAB and the chapter's neighborhood group leaders, to help neighborhood group
leaders with program ideas, and to initiate new neighborhood groups as needed.
Hospitality Coordinator Our hospitality
chair is the welcoming face of our chapter. They work with the membership chair to make all members feel part of the chapter
especially at chapter meetings and events. They are responsible for assuring that refreshments are at chapter meetings
and events and maintain our hospitality supplies. They should invite others to help with providing snacks for chapter events.
Webmaster This person will be responsible for updating our website and keeping it current with the latest information on our chapter.
Our website uses GoDaddy.com and WebEasy software. If you are familiar with working on websites or know someone who would be
